Aquagenetic
Urticaria Cannibal Medusozoa Holocaust
Notes I took:
- Off the bat there is a satisfying sample from what I assumes was a old monster flick, followed lightly by other befitting samples through out the material.
- The first thing I noticed was the monstrous vocals that sat nicely amidst a blended clash of blast beating grind noise. Also shout out to guests from Stabbed in the Cunt and Meth Induced for making appearances on the EP.
- The production itself became a characteristic of the material with its fuzzy, almost submerged under water tone; It accentuated the grindcore aspect for me which set the whole thing off.
- The material was quite short and sweet, just like this review. No need drag out what is already supreme.
It was a solid listen and I look forward to a full length album, Also I will always have an appreciation for silly/grotesque track titles. Keep it up, you're doing good.
